So far things had been a bust for her ever since she agreed to settle down here with Merry. While she still had her old situational work she figured it was time to find something a bit more permamnent for her to do to keep from going stir crazy. Getting dressed up in a pair of jeans, a tank top, and a white paramore shirt she made her way down town to scope out the scene. So far she liked what she saw though this place paled in comparison to some of the places she had been. Moscow, Tokyo, how San Fransisco failed to measure up could not even be explained.
Turning the corner Peyton noticed a vendor who was selling delicious looking sandwhiches. "Oh hey, I actually have some spending money now." she said to herself as she fished into her pocket. Oh how wonderful it was to not fish out lint every time she went into her pockets. For some reason her uncle saw fit to give her a bit of money to get her started here though she suspected she would have to earn the rest. That was no problem from Peyton as she had always been rather independant.
Ordering her food, Peyton smiled and thanked the vendor as he finished to rather quickly. She supposed that business was slow today as he seemed overly eager to help her and work quickly. Taking a giant bite, she seemed to grow hamster cheeks which we quite amusing to those who glanced in her direction. Such a small woman with rather large puffed out cheeks, the scene would have been adorable if she wasn't being such a 'pig' in the way she she shoved most of her food into her mouth.
Walking backwards, Peyton bumped into something that seemed pretty solid. Was it a wall or a person? Well it seemed too soft to be a wall, so she feared that she had just made someones day by knocking into them. "Sorry!" she called out without even turning to look immediately. She was more interested in saving her food which flew from her hand. Luckily she saw things happen alot slower than most people, performing a miraculous feat of snatching her sandwhich out of the air without spilling most of the toppings.
"I didn't know anyone was behind me! Are you alright?" she asked.
