The sun gleamed brightly off of the sandy beaches, today seemed paticularly bright and warm for some reason. Yet all things considered one could not complain for the sort of day it had been so far. The water was cool, though not too cool to swim, and the waves seemed to crash along the beach gently making a rather serene sound. With some stroke of luck Peyton managed to find a stretch of the beach that was way less inhabited than the main areas where she could be alone with her thoughts. Lucky her right? That was what most people have assumed however that was the last thing she wanted in truth.
Her long blonde hair glistened when the sun hit it, the drops of water that still clung to the mess of matted locks reflected the light so well. She sat there on a rather large rock she had found on the beach in a white bikini, a charm ankle braclet and a pair of sunglasses to block the glare. Compared to where she had been this morning already this beach paled in comparison. Then again if you went to the beaches in Italy before lunch they all sort of paled in comparison on this side of the globe. Kicking her feet back and forth as they dangled off the rock, Peyton started to reflect about all of the changes she had made since coming to San Fransisco.
Already she had put down roots so to speak, moving into a room at her uncles manor. It wasn't entirely what she wanted but with no house to go home to it gave them some measure of peace. Even if she was not every home or in her room they seemed to draw some sort of peace of mind from it. "God my family is freaking weird." she said aloud, thinking to herself mostly but she needed to hear the words. Sighing softly, a yawn would quickly follow before she got up and started to wander down the shore line with her arms crossed under her chest. The wind was pretty forceful now, if she didn't brace herself against the impact it would have blown a small woman like her over.
Without even realizing where she was going however she managed to trip over something. It was really sudden too, she had almost no time to throw out her arms. One moment she was walking and the next the entire world was standing still in her mind, waiting for some hero to save her from smashing her face. This was no fairy tale however and so she would continue her face dive towards the sand without interuption. Lifting her head out of the sand, Peyton started to spit it out of her mouth as she turned to find out what she tripped over. That what however became a who as she somehow didn't notice that someone had thrown down their roots here and she managed walk over someone laying on the beach.
"I'm sorry. Totally spaced and didn't see anyone down there." she said, turning a deep shade of crimson.
