Magic school just never ceases to amaze Karma. She wasn't sure really where in the heck the place actually is or how close to the city it is situated, but it has awesome cell service. No joke, she just spent the last ten minutes playing Candy Crush and the signal didn't drop out once. On a nice thought, let's just say it is a little gift from big-daddy Elders up there. Karma sat in a chair, her legs kicked up on the edge of a desk as the library was completely empty. It was nice for the library where if people aren't running in there running out and it is like the social to-be at this place which is really really sad that everyone gathers at a school but anyways. Karma was pretty content updating facebook status's whinning about how much she hated school, completing level 107 on CC and sticking a sneaky selfies here and there. Even though taking selfies in magic school is hard because if you get to much background the Cleaners just ambush your whole cyber-life. But being in here was at least better then being in her room. And by saying that she means being in her room near Troy. It is rediculous that she keeps going on about him, but when you are a twin then it is kind of a partnership where if they are being ignorant jerks, then it basically keeps you in a constantly shitty mood. So to avoid that for Karma to keep being the perky little princess that we know and love, she was happily playing the 'avoiding' game with her brother. As she liked Becca's R.I.P post, Karma was interrupted when a shimmer entered the room.
A demon appeared right in front of her, followed by an incoming second right behind it. Demons in magic school, a shock right? With her feet already propped on the table's edge, Karma kicked with all of her might. The girl flipped back over the chair whilst kicking the table into the guts of the rudely-entered demon. Landing on her feet, her blonde locks flicked up as she looked towards the two demons. "You guys must be craving some education". A demon launched a fireball towards Karma who with a swift blow from her lips, sent a gust of icey wind at the ball as the ball disappeared in smoke. A sly smirk crossed her lips as she looked at the demons. "Let me teach you your first lesson then". And with that, this witch sprung into action.
Charging forwards, the girl leapt across the table and landed a flying kick into the first demon's leather-covered chest. With a grunt, he was sent to the floor and Karma landed back onto the table. She doesn't like to toot her own horn, but when it came to violence, Karma was too good. The second demon however, shoved hard at the table but Karma was one step ahead, and hoped off of the table as it was sent into the wall. Turning back to the fiend, the teen witch rose a hand as a blast of fire shot straight from her palm and into the shoulder of the demon as it screamed in pain. Never underestimate the power of a typical blonde! Karma followed up by swinging a hell of a punch into the jaw of the demon, followed by a hefty side-kick to the left of the demon's head. It fell down for the count, but Karma forgot something - the other demon! Before she knew it, a foot swept out Karma's feet from under her. The blonde crashed to the ground and rolled to a crouch soon-after. Things seemed to be turning sour now. Dodging another fireball, she rose to her feet before activating yet another element in her arsenal.
Throwing both hands forward with all of her might, a strong gust of wind shot through the room. The demon shot through the air and smashed through a bookcase as pages and objects shuddered from the move. Karma's hair fell back down over the shoulders as she herself could tell she was getting overly serious about this. And she had all the reason too, because before she knew it she was turning around and an energy ball flew straight at her face. She didn't even have time to gasp, or flinch, but a flash of bright light hit her face. Was this the end of Karma? Was someone going to save her? Had this demon one....
Karma opened her eyes and - the demon was gone. The room was untouched. The fallen demon was no where to be seen. Was someone playing a trick on Karma? No, sorry to have played a trick on you but Karma was just undergoing another practical test on Advanced Power Control as a pre-graduate. (Haha, gotchya). But no, Karma didn't die. She would have probably been happier with that. But she had just failed a practical test. The echoing voice of the magically simulated Professor Alchem then hit the room as Karma threw her hands down and rolled her eyes.
"Karma, you failed the test", said Alchem.
"Yeah, I see that genious". Maybe a bit defensive, but Karma had been training hard and she couldn't even slightly pass. Blow to the ego, and a really big annoyance to her. She wanted to do better, but she didn't. Guess it's lucky she's at a school right, there is always next time. Pacing slowly with folded arms, she heard the voice again.
"I'm going to call in someone for a co-operative scenario, just to see if team-work is your preferance".
"My preferrance is to kick ass actually. But - fine, what the hell". It wasn't that Karma isn't a team-player, but this was stupid. She didn't know who Professor Alchem was calling in or if they are even at the same level as Karma. She's the daughter of the Ultimate Power, she should be able to slide through these missions. Like her mother did. Shouldn't she? Standing in anticipation, she watched the main entrance to see who they were going to send into this plain, and what kind of scenario Alchem was going to cook up for them in this second test. Yeah, facebook says it all; Karma hates school.
