OOC: no more than two characters!
Call her old fashioned, Katrina did not care. She was wired and set in this new technology driven world, but when it came to coffee she would not change her Starbucks for anything else in the world. She loved the cozy atmosphere in those coffee shops. She loved how it smelled like fresh brewed coffee all the time. There was just something about that place that helped her relax. Today on her menu was a simple coffee with a hazelnut cream. She figured it could not hurt to go through the whole Starbucks list at least once. She had been wanting to do this for ages. Unfortunately life always gets in the way and Katrina never has time for herself. Today she had taken the day off to spoil herself though and randomly pointed at something on the menu before she ordered it.
The waiter brought her order to her table. She smiled politely and thanked him. He was kind of cute too. Maybe she should give him her number on a napkin later before she left. Yes well, no one said she was an innocent girl. She might be innocent looking, but there was also a wild girl in Katrina. People just did not want to see it most of the times. She had had her fair share of parties and know more drinking games than most party animals. Katrina smiled at herself as she decided to do it. But first she would enjoy her big cup of coffee.
She smelled the warm hazelnut scent coming from her coffee as she closed her eyes for a moment. There was not a care in the world right now. At least not for Katrina. She had a stable job, her bills had been taken care off, she had no serious boyfriend to worry about or make time for and her sister was well too. Both her adoptive parents seemed to doing just fine as well. She pondered for a moment to check in with them though.
She grabbed her phone and sent Laura a casual text message, letting her know that things in San Francisco were great and asking how she and Thomas were doing. The shop door opened and the bell hanging from the ceiling made an announcing sound that someone had entered or left. Katrina looked up and saw a stranger walk into the coffee shop.
