Liz had it with all the looks thrown her way and the fact that the traffic had been crazy these past few days. And Liz hadn't had a decent job in a while either. It annoyed her to no end as she had to pay her rent too. Should she call it in on a job? Or would she..? No, no. She wasn't going to steal her way into paying another month's rent. No freaking way. She couldn't risk it, she didn't want to go back to prison. Prison sucked, period. She sighed slightly and rolled her eyes as she started rummaging through her bag in search of her phone. "Hey, watch it, you little brat!" She heard someone call out, as she landed on the floor moments later. "You watch it." She grumbled out, as she looked up and bit her lip. Great, a shop-boy. She wondered where he worked at, or what he was doing down here at the train-station.
“No, I mean it, watch it.” She heard him say, only moments before he pulled out a knife and she got back to her feet. Great. She sighed and stepped back, as she watched him closely. If it kept its pace up like this, she wasn't sure she'd make it into normal life ever. Just like, that she wasn't sure if he was a demon or not. She didn't sense him to be and that was never off. So, that meant he was just a kid full of spunk, with a severely bad temper. That was just what she needed! Hence, the sarcasm dripping off her whole attitude. She could always scream for help, but honestly, that so wasn't her thing at all, she wasn't a screamer anyway and this guy really just needed to be taught a freakin' lesson, to not bother people he would find out he couldn't handle. And besides, she could manipulate the whole thing by giving him some feelers. She didn't need any help. She just waited, as he came closer and held up her hands, as if go ward him off, before she gave him a kick up in the stomach with her knee and as he doubled over, managed to get the knife away from him. Seriously? Okay, apparently, she didn't NEED to give him some feelers. Except of course the feelers that he was going to be kicked and beaten by a girl.
Liz sighed and looked down at the knife, debating what to do with it. If she threw it on the ground, would he be so stupid as to go get it and get the whole fight started again? She looked at the boy, with raised eyebrows and steadied her grip on the blade of the knife, almost as if to stab him. She might just be fooling with the kid, making sure he wasn't going to grab a knife again in the future if he did not know how to deal with it. “Please, I'm sorry.. Don't stab me.” The boy suddenly muttered, almost making her laugh. What was he thinking? Did she even want to know what he was thinking? Probably not. Instead of bursting out laughing, she looked at the boy and held her head to the side. "I can just stab you and get this over with, but I really don't need stabbing on my resume, so I guess it's your lucky day." She said, as if she was contemplating on letting him go straight away and wasn't in fact scanning the boy for any of his weak points. It was then that she found out she had been wrong and this wasn't a mere human. Though he wasn't very powerful either. "I swear, if you're going to do anytying stupid at all, you'll end up on the other end of town!" She said, before she grinned. Yeah, they were supposed to be pacifists. Supposed to. And this was just an annoying guy, probably a low-level demon, she dealt with those on a regular base often enough.
