Kris stopped her car and looked at the bookstore, thinking that it didn't look all that.. impressing, if she was completely honest, but it was something at least. It did give off a vibe Kris wasn't sure she should get the shivers from or not, but it was necessarily negative. She was just a little unsure what to think exactly. "Well, that's perfect." She said, as she sighed and rolled her eyes as she looked into the rearview mirror and scolded herself quietly, before getting out the car and walked to the shop, with deliberate steps, only to falter when she wasn't even really inside.
Slowly Kris walked inside of the bookstore, not entirely sure if the tip she'd gotten at the police station was one she should blindly follow, but any tip was better than none, so she decided to still follow it, even though it was slightly cautious, as she wasn't too sure what she would find in here. "Oh come on, get a grip." She mumbled with a sigh, as she looked around for any workers in here, and wondered how much she would be able to find at all. Especially about magic and the supernatural world, she would supposedly be able to find out more of. It was funny to think that she actually believed in this stuff, because most would just say that she was too old to believe in it. But, she'd seen way too many absurd things to not believe in it, with the main priority of her mother's murder.
Well, not main priority... But, a big priority nevertheless. She was pretty sure that the police station would want to look in the things she looked into and that wasn't necessarily a bad thing either, meaning that she was willing to tell them some things she'd learned, even though she did know that some would say the same as everyone always had, that they thought she was being childish, or whatever, beause they didn't want to believe. But that was alright, even though slightly annoying, since she honestly believed in it. Not that she actually believed there were witches or werewolves or even fairies outside, but just... more, even though she was unsure how much more there was.
"Hello?"
