Hello there my dear members!
Most of you have known me since this board opened - talking mainly about my fellow staffies Lia [Talia Storm] and Adam [Cerberus Jones]. Others have met me over the years while on Blessed. This is a new section I decided to open so you guys can get to know the staffie team and know who to turn to for a specific problem.
Well, let me introduce myself then:Something about me...
I am mostly known as Rachel D. but in the graphics world I take the alias of Elur'yae. This name has meaning to me as I made it up for my fantasy novel series. But most of you know me by Prudence Melinda Halliwell, Connie Doherty, Katrina Walker, Jason Storm or simply Rach
I am third culture kid - tck. This means that I grew up with more than one national background. I was born in Portugal but I grew up in Switzerland. It surely helps me with learning languages faster than other things since I grew up speaking three different languages. I am proud to be a tck because it helps me integrate better and faster into other cultures and I don't suffer from the so called culture shock.
Currently I am majoring in Meteorology, although I might put that on hold and just keep my degree for the time being and pursue what I love most: writing and drawing. I am a very artistic person. Maybe being a taurus helps, that is if you believe in that.
I am an open and honest person, but can be very, very stubborn. I have no problem with speaking my mind and some say I am too direct. Well, I see it as a good thing since you never have to worry about what I think of you. You will know if I don't like you, trust me. I'm usually a happy person and try to see the good things even when it looks bad. I think I have a laid back view on life because I don't over-think things and strongly believe that if something is meant to happen then it will. I don't believe in destiny because all of our decisions are made in a moment and destiny could possibly not foresee it. I do respect others' opinions thought if they think differently.
I don't discuss politics or religion. I think everyone is entitled to their own beliefs and no one has the right to say whether that is the right or wrong one.
You only hurt me once, because once you break my trust it is gone forever. It's hard for me to fully trust someone again once I've been hurt. It's like the saying goes: fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me.
It's pretty easy to get along with me. That is if you don't try to change my opinion on religion or what the main life goals are for humans and all kind of things related to spiritual questions and what not. I have my own beliefs that keep me moving and motivated. Another thing I don't believe in is perfection. It just does not make sense to me.
There is another saying I live by: I rather live a life full of oh wells than a life filled with what ifs?.
I strongly dislike the one man hero type. I simply hate it. Like Harry Potter for example. I do like to read the books but c'mon... give the others some credits too. I never support the one man hero as I think they are over-rated. For example I did love the Weasly Twins from the Harry Potter series and I did love Murtagh right from the beginning when reading Eragon, Book One of the Inheritance Cycle [this was years before the movie came out Lia so Garrett had nothing to do with it.]
And this takes me to my platonic love: Garrett Hedlund. Yes I will admit it. He is the one actor I would love to meet*coughs* and marry *coughs*. I loved his performance in 4 Brothers and admire him for how well he gets into each and every single character he plays in each movie. He's like a freaking chameleon! He never looks the same - but is still pretty hot in all of them.
And this is it... moving on.Me & Blessed...

Blessed is my very first RPG site and after posting my series in The Charmed Sons forum - which sadly closed down now - I decided to do something of my own to focus only on my writing and my series. I did never imagine that almost 6 years later I would still have this site running this well!
In May 2005 I learnt that Charmed would go into its final season and so I started to brainstorm - mind me, I have tons of movie scripts just waiting to be picked up by the big guys for production. So I had no idea they would give Piper a daughter and Prue was originally Phoebe's daughter. After Season 08 of Charmed I changed the Blessed Children to who they are today. After I learnt how many kids each one of the sisters had I started my research for names. Then sometime later the comics came out and I did not bother to read them because what I had seen was not really of my liking. For me Charmed ended with Season 08, although after that fiasco of a season it should have ended with Season 07. And the comics are just another possible future after the hit TV-show.
So I created this board sometime in December 2007 and January 1st, 2008 I opened it. I also posted the episodes up and god, my english was not that great! I missed the whole slang language thiny. I crack up by reading the old scripts I have and while editing them to proper english. Then I met Lexie who offered to help me with my english and become my beta reader and even showed me how a proper script should look. I thank you endlessly for that Lexi.
But then sometime down the road real life kicked in and my inspiration for the series died out. I have the whole story arc in my mind but how to get there was the problem. Luckily it seems that barrier has been broken with this re-opening of Blessed. I had to deal with a lot of shit when it came to Blessed haters and also people stealing ideas for layouts and graphics. But I grew over it.
I also want to take this chance to thank you all who are part of this community and did not let this place down even though I was gone. Thank you all for not giving up! Also to my staffies: a big thank you for supporting me and helping me manage this dream of mine. I could not do this without help!
It all started with a girl's dream and a board created just out of fun and now we are a stable community with a facebook page, facebook account, twitter and a wiki. Thank you for making this possible!
