I don't care I'm still free
I don't care I'm still free
You can't take the sky from me.

The home was built in the early 19th century and had been rebuilt after the great earthquake. Reniere had taken his leave once he realized it was Girl’s Night. He chuckled and took himself to his rooms, closing the door and leaving the girls to entertain themselves in the old home. For all its age the home was comfortable and well cared for. The wood gleamed brightly and it was obvious it was well cared for.
Merry checked her tablet to see what take out was available to order, “Well it seems like there is the usual, sandwiches, pizza, Chinese and such. You wanted to order a bit of everything, yes?” she asked her cousin as she looked over at her and tilted her head gently, her chestnut curls sparkling in the light.
Inwardly she wondered how her cousin could eat all that she did and not gain an ounce. It had to be her age that allowed for it. She didn’t know any other way that she could manage it. She sighed and passed the tablet to Peyton and picked up the remote to bring up the movie choices, “Well it looks like there are oldies that are being aired tonight? What are you feeling like watching? I think they just got Pacific Rim recently. I rather like giant robots. The actor is rather cute too.” She chuckled as she looked at her cousin and winked.
As Peyton ordered she made a gesture for her to follow and opened one of the rooms in the great Victorian’s home. She’d picked a butter yellow room with white curtains that had daisies on them. The paintings in the room reflected bright and cheery meadows and the bathroom carried the yellow in its towels and rugs. The shower was one of those ornate affairs with two shower heads that gave a cross jet effect that relieved any body aches.
The bed was a comfortable shabby chic affair, its frame a white wood with white coverlet and sheets with daisies. The pillows were thick and of feather down. Merry herself had embroidered a few small pillows with bright flowers and vines.
“I hope you like this room. It reminds me of you.” Merry chuckled. “There is internet and cable as well.” She said as she opened an intricately carved entertainment center. A forty four inch television and accompanying sound system was placed there. “You should be able to synch your tablet to it and use it if you need to access the internet.”
