Even just standing her, made Kyrena feel as if she was betraying her own nature. She understood nothing of earth, nor did she ever even want to understand anything about this place people called earth. It all looked so plain, and even nature looked awkward, as if it didn't belong in this place people were walking through as if it was the most normal thing to do. She saw men and women just walking amongst each other, some holding hands and all looking weak next to men who had subjected them to them with empty promises of love. She didn't buy it, or believe any of it was real, and it wasn't why she had come here.
Glancing around, almost frantically, she heard the gates to Valhalla close, even though it probably was more in her head then it really happened in reality. Hearing those gates to her home close for her, made her realize that she was stuck here in this weird world, with these weird people. She had already had men come up to her and suggest she would come with them for things that disgusted her even thinking about, while calling her a hippie, whatever the hell that even meant.
Cursing Freya, with her absurd plans, Kyrena realized she might have to steal clothes and food to fit in more, while she felt the grass tickle her toes. Freya and her masterplan to get her out of the way, seemed silly and nonsensical. But it wasn't the reason Kyrena had listened, because even though she kept saying she did not wish to be a leader, the other Valkyries saw her as somewhat of a leader and in that knowledge, she realized that the warriors were weakening, she felt the entirety of Valhalla weakening. And she could not allow that to happen to this place she had sworn to be her home until her death.
Walking into the direction where Kyrena heard noise from weird big objects that swooshed past in fast movements, she shivered, instinctively feeling that these objects could get her hurt, if not kill anyone they made contact with. She also shivered because she felt cold, because she didn't wear that many clothing from Valhalla, as it was rarely cold there. Slowly she made her way to the roads, making sure not to get into contact with any of those weird objects, or for people to not look too weirdly at her. Because for a sworn warrior, she felt weak and desperate and alone.
A sigh crossed her lips, as she glanced at the men and women in front of her, who were all acting so... nonchalant, as if nothing was happening at all and they didn't even notice her. She hoped they didn't and even if they did, that they wouldn't wonder her intentions. She didn't want to get into contact with any human being that acted as if they were better then her. Especially not with one that was called a cop, around to witness it. She didn't understand what cops were, or what they did. She knew that if a cop dared her in combat, they would not stand a chance to her, but it would still slow her down immensely.
Looking around, she could swear that she was being watched by multiple eyes and it made her shiver at the sudden intensity of cold running down her spine. Stupid weather changes. It was so much hotter at Valhalla in the Indian Ocean. That was another reason why she needed new clothes. If she had to, she’d steal them from the nearest clothing shop-thing that she found. Weird that she didn’t even know what the name of such a shop was. Well, truth was that she had no idea what anything in this human world was called. She now realized that she in fact felt naked in the clothes she wore, as everyone – specifically men, which made her want to punch them at their ignorance of who she was – but women also, were staring at her. That the women were staring her, made her feel much more uncomfortable then these men. It was a weird world, she thought as she stopped walking for a moment and studied a couple on a bench, making sure they didn't think she was staring at them, before she walked further, taking in everything she saw around her.
