Natalia closed her eyes willing the ability she inherited from her mother to work. To see the moment that she would gain her sought gift. It wasn't power, it wasn't wealth, it wasn't adoration. What she wanted would get her all of that without trouble. She wanted more. So much more. So so much more. She inhaled slowly through her nose, willing herself to smell every foul particle this city air offered. She then exhaled slowly through her mouth. Her former Yoga instructor would have been proud. Slowly she lifted her left foot to her right knee and stood, holding almost perfect balance. It was a wolf thing, when you had a tail you could be balanced better then if you didn't.
Slowly she pushed her hands down till her foot and hand reached one another, then reached her foot behind her holding on tight. She would have been an almost circle if her joints bent that way, and she didn't need to keep one foot on the ground for this pose. She held the pose for a about a minuet before slowly releasing during an exhale. She opened her eyes. Obviously she wasn't having the vision any time soon. She walked over and picked up a towel and wiped off her arms from the sweat this city caused her.
She gripped her bottle and practically inhaled most of it. She tossed it back down on her rooftop deck table and sat down herself. Then she grabbed the folder that was sitting next to it, which had been under her table. She wrapped the towel around her shoulders and sat down in an island chair. The deck was open to the air, and Natalia's decor was inviting. It was island decor after all. She sighed reading the file again. She'd written it but that didn't mean she didn't have to go over it often.
