It is extremely rare that a werewolf would turn a person who is mentally unstable. Even if the person that is wanting to be turned knows it or not, a werewolf has the ability to determine a mentally unstable person from a mentally healthy human being. Although, this problem does happen amongst werewolves, and other immortal creatures. Especially with humans with multiple personality disorder. Once this happens however, the secondary personality, or however more that there may, or could be is no longer just an imaginary being that said person becomes, but rather a separate entity all together. The werewolf venom affects the mind in such a way that the spirit of the wolf creates two separate beings in the one body that is now cursed. This secondary being is not longer just a personality that the newly made werewolf made up in their human life, but now a person that inhabits their body that surfaces during certain times and points.
These beings make up aspects of their counterpart that do not define them. While the one is rude, the other could be polite, while one is only of average intelligence, the other could be a genius, and while one is good, the other could be evil. Another interesting difference is that while one may not be able to control the change, the other could quite possibly be able to control the transformation into a werewolf with little to no effort, and is distinguishable by their different fur colors. While these aspects define the other entity, they still share the same physical strengths and vulnerabilities as the other. Although they are both bound to the same body, the beings can be separated with the help of a powerful witch, demon, or any type of being with the power to split people sharing the same body into.
