Ringing
I do not own the characters of Wyatt Halliwell or Prue Halliwell, this is my renidition of what may have happened. For the Blessed Series. I hope it does Blessed justice.
Finally, Wyatt Matthew Halliwell was getting move out of the manor and live on his own. He was eighteen and well, it was time for him to grow up a little more than he had done over the years, considering he fought demons, he couldn’t afford to be very childish. His father had been warning him for quite some time lately though, that he was at the age where he might start hearing that certain ringing in his ears and mind...
Wait...
When Wyatt was thinking that he hadn’t expected the ringing to have actually started. Tapping his fingers against his forehead he wondered if he was only hearing things because he was thinking about it. Was it true, was he about to become a whitelighter properly and have his first charge. He was born half whitelighter thanks to his father, who by now was powerless, that didn’t make Wyatt – or his little brother Chris – any less of a whitelighter though.
Wyatt didn’t only have a younger brother in Chris, he also had a younger sister in Prudence - Prue – and she was fourteen years old. They all had a close relationship. Just like brothers and sisters were meant to have. But of course that didn’t mean they didn’t have their disagreements. That was especially true when it came to him and his brother.
“Stop it.”
Yes, Wyatt was now arguing with thin air. It was pointless the ringing wasn’t going to stop and Leo had also once warned his son of that. Wyatt had two choices. Either find his charge or the ringing will stop... that or go up to the heavens, speak to the elders and find out that way. Well, Wyatt wasn’t too fond of the elders after everything that had happened to his parents. So maybe he should just take the hard way.
Couldn’t be that difficult... There wasn’t that many people in San Francisco... well... okay maybe that’s a lie. Just how many of them could be aspiring young witches? Again, maybe there was. Wyatt just had to try and single out his charge. Clues might have been helpful. Yet of course he knew there wouldn’t be any if he was to choose the hard way to find his charge. Who could this mystery person be? It could be male or female, so he didn’t know who to look for.
One thing he had remembered though from what he had found out from his father’s many lectures about this moment was that his charge was going to be in trouble. That would explain the ringing in his ears, of course. Why was it like this because Wyatt never remembered anything like this until the exact moment he needed it? He could have sworn he was ignoring what his father was saying at the time.
“It’s now or never.”
And With that Wyatt decided to get up from sitting on his bed. Orb or Walk? Wait, wasn’t orbing by his own accord personal gain? Didn’t want to look bad his first time as a whitelighter. God knows his parents had complained about all the times he, Chris and Prue had acted upon personal gain before this day. He didn’t want yet another lecture. Especially now he wasn’t living at home.
Where to start...
Usually danger with witches starts with demons. Usually whitelighters can also sense their charges. Yet another thing he remembered. This time it wasn’t from his parents, this piece of handy information had come from his aunt Paige. She was the one that started training him how to be a whitelighter when he was younger, now she was doing the same to Chris. Shame though because it meant that Prue didn’t have any training done yet, maybe one day.
“Let’s see...”
Closing his eyes our young aspiring whitelighter tried to focus on what could be the most important moment of his life. If he had ruined this then he might never get another chance of being a whitelighter. The last thing that Wyatt needed was to be stripped of his wings, especially as he is twice blessed and he didn’t want to ruin that either. Wyatt didn’t want to be showing off when it came to his status, especially around Chris. If he did, he never meant to. But he couldn’t ruin it just because of a stupid moment he had trying to find a charge because he was too stubborn to get advice from the elders.
That was it. There was a flash in his mind where about the ringing was trying to lead him to. He was right about witches and demons’ fighting that was for sure. He could have sworn it was a demon that opposed his young charge. From the look of the girl he had a flash of she was quite young as well. He knew he had to save her or else he’d definitely loose the right of being a whitelighter. Wyatt orbed to the park where he could have sworn was the location of the fight he witnessed briefly.
Looking around instantly, he saw the park was empty, which was good for anyone that could have seen what was going to happen. He didn’t feel like casting any forgetting spells right now, that wasn’t what he needed. Wyatt ran through a few trees before finding the demon that was about to throw a fireball towards the young girl, who he couldn’t yet see properly. Once the demons hand moved back Wyatt knew exactly what he had to do.
“Fireball.”
And telekinetically the fireball appeared in his hand. Wyatt looked down at the fireball with a slight smirk before looking back at the demon that had just realised his fireball was gone. How slow were demons? He shrugged slightly at the loss the demon had just went through before sending the fireball then at the demon, who blew up into flames, vanquished. That might have been too easy, but it was never like that had never happened before...
Phew...
“Wyatt!”
He knew that shout. Wyatt looked around for the familiar voice, really familiar voice. He was even more shocked to see the familiar face that was looking up at him. The girl the demon was trying to kill was none other than his little sister Prue. Wyatt walked over to her slowly, bending down to help her up. She looked terrified, even though she had seen demons before; one had never gotten that close to her to frighten her. Maybe she wasn’t that good at fighting yet. No one had taught her to control her powers yet.
“Are you okay?”
The overprotecting older brother asked as he looked down at her with a serious look, if she was hurt then he was going after the clan of demons that one belonged to and would vanquish them all one by one – obviously with Chris’s help – Wyatt didn’t go it alone. That was a never, not even once. Yet... It was then that Wyatt had noticed. He should have realised the second he had gotten there and into that fight.
The ringing had stopped.

Wow, this is so cool. I like the fan fiction based on Blessed Dee. It's really good and surely caught the relationship between Wyatt and Prue.
Yeah, this could be how they found out they were whitelighter-charge, but in episode 1x03 - Dragon Tales it's a little different but anyway, I liked the one shot and am flattered you wrote it based on Blessed.

What Blessed is about
Blessed is my vision of a Charmed spin-off starring Wes Ramsey, Drew Fuller, Sienna Guillory, Adam Garcia and Jensen Ackles as the main characters. Blessed is mainly centered around these characters but not forgetting Wyatt, Chris and Prue's cousins who also will have many Guest appearances. All cousins have their own story told in parallel to the main story, completing it. I'm not in any way affiliated with any celebrities mentioned in Blessed, may be in the future... who knows? The Virtual Show
It’s 2029. Wyatt (Wes Ramsey), 25, Chris (Drew Fuller), 24 and Prue (Sienna Guillory) 22, have been fighting demons for a long time together now; Wyatt and Chris for 10 years and Prue joined their fight 2 years later. The three of them and their cousins are known as the Blessed Children because of their ancestors and the powers they’re given.
Wyatt has become the P3’s manager; Chris is taking Web Design at College while Prue is taking Photography. Soon the Blessed Children have to find out that there're other witches as powerful as themselves and learn about the existence of another Twice Blessed - Matt (Adam Garcia). Joey (Jensen Ackles) is also about to find out about the Halliwells being witches. But his reasons are not law related like it seems, he wants to find out about the Halliwells for his own sake - revenge!
